cautious - Software Engineer Xyken Employee Review

There is a very nice work environment. My co-workers were very supportive and tried to help me whenever I needed it. They were open to questions as I was learning the ins and outs of working in a professional software development environment. Even when I made mistakes, they were patient and helped explain to me what I did wrong and how to fix it. I would recommend this comapny to anyone.

There aren't really any big downsides to working at Xyken other than the small office which never really posed much of an issue. Each employee has enough space for their own work station anyways.

The work moves quickly and there are high expectations. Each morning, the team went through a daily standup and collaborated through issues and road blocks. There is also a lot of space to grow, since you take on ownership of the project you work on in such a small company.

Sometimes will have to work over time to meet a deadline, and will need to look extensively to figure out a problem due to the fewer engineers available as compared to a big company.
