Pros
This is by far the best place to work. The practice has to make money to pay staff. Therefore, I don't mind seeing patients. 3 patients her hour is what I was told and I got a BONUS for seeing extra patients. Making fake and false statement about being handicapped to steal money and staying on the clock after the office is closed to pretend to be working is why some were get fired.
Cons
This is one of the best place to work. Providers who got fired are bad providers. They keep the GOOD Providers. I like my job there and plan to stay for a long time. The manager does not take crap from staff who are RUDE and I fully support her. Provider should EXPECT TO SEE 3 patients per hour. If you cannot see 3 patients per hour, you cannot be a provider and I suggest you returned your license to the board. You should have stayed a NURSE. WHY DID YOU BECOME AN NP? I don't know why some become a Nurse Practitioner. If you care only about taking and stealing money from the Employer you will not stay there because they will get rid of you. They pay VERY WELL, $65-70.00 per hour. I expected to work because I got paid well. The practice needs money to pay me.
