Pros

Slow business means you can expect to work fewer hours.

Cons

The way this company operates is so frustrating and inconsistent. Why do we have to manually change and adjust prices or discounts at the register when they should already be correct? Why do we always have to argue with customers when one coupon cancels out the other in-store deals? What is the point of having multiple coupons, discounts, and in-store deals on the same product when it only leads to more confusion and verbal abuse from customers? Why doesn’t management know which specific products are no longer on clearance before a customer tries to buy them? Why are there floor and table changes every few days or weeks when there are so many products, signs, and props missing? Why are only two employees scheduled per shift during busy weekday hours and peak seasons? This company clearly doesn’t know what it’s doing and continually sets its employees up for failure. They expect us to go above and beyond while providing little to no support and paying us poorly. Working a low-paying retail job shouldn’t be this demanding and complicated.
