The discount is ok but the coupons are basically the same as our discount. Some of the people that work for you are great but most of them are really lazy.

District managers micromanage on another level! I cannot make a single decision for my store without consulting with her. Hiring an assistant is horrible because they want someone with a ton of experience that is willing to work for next to no compensation. Store managers work all of the hours, often alone. There is no such thing as work/life balance. Everyone that works there hates their job because so much is expected with very minimal pay. Store managers make as much as assistants at other brands, which is way outdated. It's hard to want to be a store manager for Yankee because you are paid the bare minimum and the likelihood of getting a bonus or a small raise is rare. My district manager is manipulative and gossipy. Everyone trying to leave because of her inconsistent and overbearing leadership.
