Cool people, that's it. Nothing more to say.

Incompetent salary, which would be considered a joke in many companies.

Pros

Yara mobile has a very friendly environment. The overall social interactions between people are awesome and this creates an ease of mind when working. People's interactions are mostly based on respect. This causes the friendly vibe, but most of colleagues don't get their friendship outside of their working environment. (Not going out with their colleagues, etc). The overall culture is fair and accepting. The overall working area is nice, clean and tidy. each open-office has around 20-25 people in it. People might either love it, or hate it. I used to be in the technical room which people would share occasional laughs and jokes with everyone. And also open knowledge-sharing. This would create a happy and upbeat environment, which I really loved. But some new employees would comment on how noisy we were. Because of the young majority of employees, there was a vibe of learning, experiencing and growth (mostly on technical team). People would strive to improve and get better. This makes Yara Mobile to be a great environment for people who want to grow fast in the field. The company, has many many little and big applications and projects. This also creates a great experience for the inexperienced. You get to work on many different projects and learn from others and their projects as well. This is also awesome for your overall knowledge and also your resume. Yara is definitely a great jumpstart for hard-working youngsters in tech world.

Cons

The company really has a strict technical interview. Their target is to hire "young and intelligent people" whom have short working experiences, but are above their level. This caused the majority of technical team to be young (in their 20s and early 30s) and they were considered very smart and intelligent and noticeably hard-working. This is the main reason of "strive and growth" environment of the tech team. And here comes the backslash: A young, smart and hardworking person learns and grows faster than expected. This causes them to strive for higher salary based on their real level, and compared to the offer that other companies usually give (and their friends usually get). The company itself has a strict salary chart which is not very outstanding and the yearly rise is not at all good. So, after about a year, most of the younger employees easily get lured by other companies for higher salary offers than Yara. In the last year, many people of the tech and product team left the company "only" for higher salary offers for their level. And because of their knowledge and having many project experiences compared to their age, most of them were hired in very bigger and better companies. Because this company is a small branch of the bigger holding and they cannot outrun their salary rules by much. So, as a young growing person in technical job field, Yara is great to get in, but due to their salary and rise policies, this will not satisfy you to stay in much long. Another issue is the project management. There is some barrier between technical and product teams. The company is working agile, but does not follow a standard agile methodology and the using the task manager is mostly neglected. Anyone works with their own preferred method and this causes some friction and waste of effort as well. Also, sometimes they get to work on projects that are not really good. There is also a lack of marketing and go-to-market strategies which will affect the overall satisfaction of working on a project (you feel like they could do better and your effort and contribution might be well-wasted)
