Pros
If you live overseas, they will assist you with Visa requirements. If hired, they help find you living quarters (share house or apartment). You must pay for your own ticket to Japan. When you arrive, they will assist you further into getting settled such as health check, bank account, cell phone plan, & finding your home.
Cons
The company I work for is Kid’s Duo which is a subsidiary company of Yaruki. They over work their employees & the hours are really late. You start at 11:00 & end at 20:00. The commute is an average 1 hour each way but mine is around 1 hour & 20 minutes away. They are a money driven company. My salary is just enough to get by so there’s not much I can save. I wish they explained before arriving that Kid’s Duo is an after school program not a real school. They are a daycare center where we provide an English environment. It’s a very tiring job & you must understand that you’re replaceable.
