Pros

The visa processing was fast.

Cons

-No professional growth for teacher employees -Full-time teachers would be given extra unpaid work that were not related to teaching, like customer service for job ads, support for credit card applications, and translation jobs even if you didn't know Japanese. -No healthcare and social insurance support. -Full-time teachers were basically "substitutes" for part-time employees who were absent. The manager would lie to our own students that we were sick, so that we would go to other locations to teach because the part-time teacher was absent. We then had to compensate for our own classes by extending our lessons, meaning: less to no break between classes, and unpaid overtime. -The "paid leave" in the contract means, the national holidays like Golden Week and Obon. We didn't get to have any real paid leaves or even sick leaves. They would force you to work even if you passed out twice and couldn't even speak. -The salary was 200,000 yen without possible increase. The company didn't pay any contributions, no transportation reimbursement even if it's on the contract.
