Pros

I was recently let go, however, Yotpo is one of the most special companies I’ve ever had the privilege of working for. I spent 1.5 years there as a Customer Success Manager, and during that time I experienced tremendous growth, worked alongside some of the most talented people I've ever met. I believe in Yotpo, the people and the product. The team is incredible—smart, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. From day one, I felt welcomed and empowered. Leadership is strong and deeply invested in their people, and the company culture reflects that. I always felt like my voice mattered and my contributions were valued.

Cons

Unfortunately, I was impacted by a recent round of layoffs that affected a large portion of the company. While it was obviously difficult, I want to emphasize how gracefully and professionally it was handled. Communication was clear and transparent, leadership showed real empathy, and the severance and support provided was fair. It was evident that they truly cared about helping people land on their feet.

Pros

Yotpo moves fast, is always improving, and has a team of superstars that put more energy in their work than I’ve seen anywhere

Cons

Still operates at the speed and agility of an early startup. Don’t expect cushy easy job.

Pros

Despite the overwhelming amount of issues, I did meet some colleagues who were kind and smart.

Cons

I was at Yotpo for a while, so I saw firsthand how unfair and poorly they operated. It's been said before but if you are a person of color, you will have a very hard time here. They form groups around one identity and favoritism. You won't get promoted or ever feel like you belong. There have been multiple instances where I've felt extremely uncomfortable. Leadership once encouraged us to reach out to customers, asking for support on political causes personal to them. This is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. In the office, some colleagues would bring up divisive topics often and try to force their opinions on others. There were constant changes from leadership that lacked thought and follow through. Instead of thinking about what was best for employees, leadership made decisions that led to burnout, broke trust, and deepened resentment. One great example is deciding to hire multiple people and then 2 months later announcing a layoff - forcing those remaining to work twice as hard. I've seen peers get mistreated by their managers too. It broke my heart to watch kind, hardworking people be gaslit, spoken down to, and disrespected. There's a reason so many have left and are continuing to. Look to the numbers as proof, and do with that what you will.
