Pros

They speak very nice to you and motivate you to work and achieve your goals.

Cons

They expect you to work full-time unpaid. They didn't give notice as it says on the contract before firing you. Lack of communication between manager and working staff. Poor time management. They said i started working in May but i actually started in March.

Pros

- good for volunteers and unpaid interns who need some experience to help find better paid work

Cons

- underpay freelance staff (mininum wage even with high-skilled work) - expect a lot of unpaid overtime hours - no boundaries between working hours and non-working hours (eg would WhatsApp me at 8pm with work tasks expected to be completed the next day, on an agreed day off) - chaotic, reactionary management style that is confusing and stressful for team to deal with, eg suddenly coming up with tasks without any advanced warning (eg I was asked to deliver training 2 hours in advance without any preparation or prior knowledge I would deliver this kind of training on a day that was not my agreed working day) - management staff have little to no understanding of the arts and very unrealistic expectations around how quickly work should be produced - they ignore contracts and legal obligations to honour these - they fired me without notice, despite the contract outlining I needed at least 2 weeks paid notice. - do not put practices into place to protect staff wellbeing

Pros

-Gave a me a great start up in my graphic design career, I’m thankful to the people who gave me this opportunity -Loads of room to be creative in projects -Great clients to work with, always a pleasure to gain knowledge from different charities when making assets for them. -Very diverse and open minded community of people.

Cons

-Quite disorganized, there was no set up to projects and timelines, I felt I had to play catch up every week because of the unrealistic deadlines on top of university work. -Told I would have a mentor Senior Designer, only met them once in that one year and was left to handling design projects on my own. - No clear file saving system, they relied on me to save all work on my laptop, this shouldn’t be required of employees to hold company work on their personal computers.
