Cons
COMPANY in itself. This company drains you of every last energy you have. They make you feel less than and make you doubt the abilities you already have. They make you doubt everything about yourself. They lie, as if lying is their only language. The company believes, due to doing trauma informed training, they are indeed trauma informed, but instead they continue the cycle of trauma. They leave the youth guessing what is coming next, instead of informing them of lies ahead. They somehow believe that leaving the youth without answers is better than letting them know what they are going to be faced with in order to be prepared. This company wants to be different than corrections/locked up facilities but instead they continue the vicious cycle of violence and continue to harm the youth in the program. This program, like other non-profits, only seems to care about funding rather than the safety and well-being of the clients in the program. Along with the safety and well being of their staff. This company lies about the income you will be making; do not be fooled by the number they lay out on the application. This company will hide evidence regarding events that could and would get the company shut down.
