The ZDI Van Nuys office environment is extremely uncomfortable. There is ongoing retaliation, discrimination, sexism and name calling. These issues extend beyond company employees and impact relationships with tenants and vendors. ZDI struggles to retain employees. This 5 person company has lost 6 employees in 2 years. The office and workflow are poorly managed. Duties and tasks are shifted to different employees every couple months. There are no growth opportunities and the constant shifting leaves employees questioning their job security. ZDI will not pay mileage to go to properties (100 mile trips) and will not reimburse phone used for company calls. Their logic is that the employees salary should cover company related expenses.
