Pros
Zetec is the complete package when it comes to benefits and job atmosphere. Along with the standard benefits package (401K, health care, etc.) you get so much more! On site there is a game room, full kitchen, and a company gym. The location is surrounded by beautiful landscape, small shops, and restaurants that are walking distance for lunch breaks. The people are friendly and willing to help when needed. The leadership team is very accessible and interactive with people in the company.
There is constant cross communication between different departments to complete tasks, I feel empowered to voice my opinion with upper management, and I really enjoy that even though Zetec is a large company they still maintain a small business vibe. At Zetec, I feel free to be myself and do my job in a fashion that I feel comfortable with.
Cons
As a Zetec employee it is common you will wear many hats at some point and sometimes it is too many. You’ll find yourself completing tasks outside of your expertise to get a job done. The work environment at Zetec doesn’t encourage too many company activities. There is a great holiday party and there are many events that are hosted but not too many participate or are too focused with work.
