Pros
Career progression
At this point in time, it is a startup so the career progression, opportunity and learnings is insane. The future certainly looks bright. Zeti is backed and led by people that have lots of experience in the sustainable finance and EV industries which gave me more faith in it working out. I'm also taking on responsibility at a young age that I would never get in a corporate. In my time here I have wanted to get stuck into other areas of the business than operations and they are more than happy to help me with that which only grows my skillset.
Motivation
It is truly special being a part of the growth of something and working towards something you believe in. The sustainable foundations of which Zeti are sat on was the main reason I joined. I get to do something that is making a positive impact in the world and that makes me happier more than anything else.
Culture
I love the supportive nature of the team, I haven't experienced a situation whereby someone was put to blame, instead it was a team effort to rectify any errors and make sure they didn't happen again. I feel my opinion is genuinely valued and I can have a positive impact on the business. (we also don't have to wear suits which is a massive win for me). Zeti is based in central london which is ideal in fitting itself to my life but even if i didn't live in London, they will allow me to work from home for the majority of the week.
In short, it's really exciting to be a part of this, the career progression is amazing and the vibes are immaculate.
Cons
As part of being at a startup and chasing new opportunities and rapid growth, there will be times (not that often in my experience) where you have to work extra hours than you are contracted. This is pretty common in most companies though.
