Pros

You get to interact with some really great people.

Cons

If you want to make it in the company, you have to be a male. Everyone is a carbon copy of each other. Offer bare minimum benefits to their employees, including stock options. There are some people in the company that have it and some that don’t. They work you to the bone, including unpaid overtime and making people in sales and CS work on Christmas Eve when the rest of the company gets it off. If you are an individual contributor you get zero acknowledgement, and you have managers and directors taking your ideas and pretend that they are the ones that come up with it and get all the praise and recognition for it. The company does not let anyone of its workers know about what is going on and keeps everything secret. Now that they’re trying to go public, they are making people work even harder and are still not offering stock options to anyone.

Pros

Get stuff done culture. Really increased the talent density over time. Good people who genuinely care. Forward thinking on AI - most companies are not there

Cons

Pace can cause whiplash - but a lot of it is market conditions and the need to adapt

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
