Pros

If you care about a collaborative work environment with professionals passionate about their craft, come to ZoomInfo. You'll be surrounded by hard working, fun loving colleagues who genuinely support each other day in and day out towards excellence. ZoomInfo tries hard every day to connect with it's employees and goes the extra mile despite the remote stance. I feel a true sense of caring and belonging here. It's software/SaaS so inherently it's fast-paced. But I feel an amazing sense of accomplishment here at the end of every day. And I know I want to be here for years, not just quarters. I seek to fold into this culture and both learn from and add to it. They've made it clear they embrace EVERYONE at ZI. I challenged them during the interview on race issues and sexual orientation and they had a declared position on plus they backed it up with demonstrated actions. If you're seeking perfection, go elsewhere. ZoomInfo is not perfect, nor does it try to be. It simply tries to get 1% better every day and asks us to do the same. I can get on board with this agreement. Can you? If so please come join us. We're growing and we need YOUR energy here now.

Cons

Because ZoomInfo values the in person energy that comes with being in the office there's multiple approaches available for the post pandemic return to normal. If you're someone who never wants to be in an office working with colleagues again you may not gravitate to our culture. We want to be among each other, even if not a full 40 hours each week in the future. I don't consider it a con, but you might.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and for articulating the values that define ZoomInfo. The drive towards excellence you mentioned is something our employees embrace and that energy has fueled our incredible growth. We get 1% better each day because we support each other, learn from each other, grow and celebrate together. As you said, we like being together and thrive in a collegial, collaborative environment. Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion programs strengthen our workplace and ensure all voices are heard. That's how we innovate and Define New Possibles. We can't wait to come back together this summer in our new hybrid remote working model. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts! -Paige, Employee Experience

Pros

There is so much growth and opportunity within the company! I feel like our company is so "with it" with guides and new tools being brought in (especially now in the age of AI) that support our explosive improvements in both short and long term goals. The company has supported me with any resource I've needed and keeps me excited about "what's next". I feel like I become better each day and am so grateful for my team's support when going through anything difficult as well. I feel cared for and appreciated.

Cons

The IT/software industry comes with more volatility in markets so while that's not the most comfortable, I know that consistency and the good actions we take every day is what makes me and our company successful in the long-run.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and great office.

Cons

Poor hiring decisions, recent layoffs eliminated mostly remote employees because they are prioritizing in office employees, especially with recent investment in office. RIF was not at all based on performance which meant that some in office employees who don't know what they are doing got to keep their job. You have to suck up to management to get promoted and a lot of really good reps leave as a result of constant micro-management.

Thank you for the feedback, and we're glad the pay, benefits, and office experience worked well for you. To be clear, though, the recent restructure was not targeted at remote employees. It reflected a strategic decision to restructure some of our sales and support operations as we shift how we approach certain segments of the business, both in terms of personnel and platform. The people affected were valued contributors and we recognize their work helped make ZoomInfo what it is today. The suggestion that in-office employees who stayed "don't know what they're doing" simply isn't accurate. Additionally, we go hard at the end of every month (which is true across SaaS sales broadly) but would push back on the characterization of the culture. Our employee engagement team works hard to make that sprint enjoyable, with in-office lunches and activities. Sales is a high-pressure environment by nature, and we're proud of the culture we've built around it. We appreciate you sharing your perspective, even where we see it differently. – Stephen Antuna, ZoomInfo SVP of Account Management
