Pros
The idea is great and serves an incredible purpose for thousands of families, schools, and school districts. The team is made up of an incredible group of hard working people that strive to provide the best service possible. It is an untapped market for the most part so the potential for success is unlimited.
Cons
There is a serious lack of leadership and transparency from the top down. There are rare company meetings where visions and ideas are shared among peers, especially for such a small company in it’s early stages. A lot of closed door and “secret” meetings where decisions are made without taking into account how it will affect the day to day operations of the employees that work there. There is a sense of “my way or the highway,” attitude from the leadership and that affects how effective some people are at their jobs. If there are any disagrements or questions regarding decisions made by leadership, there are negative consequences.
