Pros

Note all the reviews from October 2014 are within a week of each other? I've worked at Alter, those reviews are completely company leadership driven, directly through a digital strategist, not employee driven at all. Beer in the fridge? Check. I'll give Alter Imaging THAT much and that's the ONLY pro I'll give.

Cons

Like to work paycheck to paycheck, get paid for a lot less than you're worth, be completely micromanaged and not have any formal benefits, like none at all (but the CEO/Pres promises that within "6 mos. he's planning on offering them"? Then 6 months go by, then another 6 months...still no benefits? If you like this work environment, this is the place for you. Small agency, high turnover. Go figure. Slow to complete projects (it's the micromanaging folks!) at the expense of the client.

Pros

People are awesome, they genuinely seem to care and respect each other, and its just a fun place to work. Everyone is very busy but no one seems to be over stressed/ overworked or work exceptionally long hours. FLextime is great and the mantra is, if the work gets done then thats what matter rather than clocking in and out at a certain time.

Cons

Its boutique, with a dozen people or so, so there is a lot to do and its busy, but I've taken it as new areas to learn as I've gotten the opportunites to help in other areas if I like (so maybe its a pro, career advancement ;) )

Pros

- Client focus is #1 - we all strive for nothing less than 100% client delight - Amazing co-workers who are smart and funny, care about quality, and work as a team - Engaged, professional and smart owner who also has a lot of heart - South End location - easy to get to and has great energy - Very cool and productive work environment, awesome culture - Great clients who love working with you - each challenging you in a different way - Lots of autonomy and trust - you're given the tools and support you need, then expected to go for it, which is great - The kitchen is kept stocked with snacks and drinks - who doesn't love that? - Flexible work hours, as long as the work gets done!

Cons

- Because it's a small agency, there is not much of the "typical" advancement opportunities, but if you prefer that, just go corporate - I honestly can't think of any other cons
