Pros

Office location is rare & beautiful. Office hours are nice for live/work balance. Company atmosphere is casual & laid back. Projects are fun. Some positions let you be a jack of all trades, good for professional growth overall. Staff is made up of good people.

Cons

Company's structure hinders professional growth within the company, hard to see advancement opportunities, and complacency within the workplace/positions is evident, these qualities combined make transitions of younger talent out of the company more frequent rather than embracing a growth and loyalty many are looking for.

Pros

After 12 years, I still love working alongside the incredible leaders, designers, and architects at api(+). What I appreciate most is the firm’s progressive, creative work and the way leadership empowers each team member to focus on what they do best, work that is both fulfilling and aligned with their greatest talents.

Cons

As a small marketing team, balancing content creation and pursuing new business opportunities can be challenging, as there’s always more we’d love to accomplish.

Pros

You get to work with a wonderful team in a tree house right on the bay.

Cons

The problem is, there are only a few good ones left & they are leaving one by one. The reason they are leaving is because of the Leadership. Juan Romero is a Macho Man womanizer in his 70's. He is not intelligent in architecture nor in business. He treats men differently then women. He yells at & belittles both. He will not be challenged. You can not tell him about BUILDING CODE or ZONING CODE. He does not get it. He is only nice to you when he has nobody else to help. He is co-dependent on his Vice President Rachel Marshall. Rachel is gas lighting him so she can acquire the firm. She hates him. The whole team hates him. The team hates Rachel. Everyone is worried they will be fired next. I told the man I wanted out of this coffin with him 3 weeks after I got there.
