Its an easy way to break into the tech industry. You get to say you work in tech. Good coworkers.
Cons
- Management micromanage everything even though the company is getting to the point where that is completely inefficient. They control every small thing. - Poor benefits and poor insurance. Over time you will eventually figure out that some individuals in the company are treated better than others. Management tries to prevent individuals from speaking to each other about what everyone earns but everyone's salary or pay varies from each other even if they are in the same position. Some individuals have better benefits than others, etc. - There are three companies in total under this corporate umbrella. Bobsweep, AI Incorporated, and SV Robotic Services. It is unclear why each is a separate entity and it seems like the type of "hush hush" thing you don't ask about which is weird. - management can be very cheap... they cut corners and try to utilize things for free whenever possible <-- shows little to no faith or willingness to invest in their employees or the future of the company. Makes it seem like everyone is expendable which after you have been with the company for a period of time becomes pretty apparent. The management at the company seems to consist of a family of individuals. It seems like everyone at the company is expendable except for them and maybe 1 or 2 employees. - U.S. only gets 3-4 holidays off a year excluding thanksgiving. Canadian portion of the company gets quite a number of holidays off. - Seems like they may want to sell the company at some point in the near future. - Just because this is a tech company don't expect anything flashy in terms of company benefits.
