Pros
Compensation is decent. Salary on time
Cons
**1. No Work-Life Balance:** The company demands relentless hours with little to no regard for personal time. Expect to work late nights and weekends regularly. **2. Zero Client Retention Rate:** In the past six months alone, they lost four major clients due to poor management and lackluster service. This has created a highly unstable work environment. **3. Project-Based Hiring:** Employees are hired on a project basis, which results in a lack of job security. Once a project is completed, there's no guarantee of continued employment. **4. Incompetent Managers:** The managerial staff lacks both product knowledge and basic managerial skills. They are unable to guide their teams effectively, leading to chaos and frustration. **5. Micromanagement:** Micromanagement is rampant. Managers treat employees like production machines, devoid of empathy and humanity. The constant oversight stifles creativity and autonomy. **6. HR as a Bouncer:** The HR department acts more like a legally appointed bouncer than a support system for employees. Their primary role seems to be enforcing policies & threatening employees of spoiling their career by termination, providing bad reviews in BGC & not giving relieving letter, rather than assisting staff. **7. School-Like Environment:** The work culture resembles that of a strict school. There's a lack of professional freedom, and employees are monitored excessively. **8. Limited Paid Leaves:** The company offers only 21 paid leaves per year. Even to avail of these, employees must go in war with their managers, making it a stressful ordeal. In summary, bluCognition is plagued by poor management, lack of employee support, and an oppressive work culture. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a healthy and supportive work environment.
