Unfortunately, during the tumultuous times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bookit.com faced insurmountable challenges and ultimately had to close its doors. As a result, all employees were laid off due to the economic strain caused by the crisis. The sudden closure left many without job security or a clear path forward, adding immense stress and uncertainty during an already difficult time. While the circumstances were beyond the company's control, the lack of contingency plans or support for displaced employees added to the hardship of an already dire situation.

Low pay for the amount of work I was doing. Was getting paid a fraction of the amount I should have and I knew more than their tenured people who made plenty of mistakes. I also had a bachelor's degree which they did not take into account and they did not give me the promised raise for the amount of work I was doing.
