Pros

Work-life balance. Benefits on-par with industry/competitors. Flexible working arrangements.

Cons

Here there's generally has slow pace of work, burdened by long winded processes/concept appraise stages or people who generally don't have a clue or interest in what they're doing. Lots of knee-jerk reactions/impromptu mini-projects sold as "short term initiatives/solutions" but with no long term stability/end state in mind. Lack of career challenge. Lack of clear direction & role segregation in technical positions - more roles & responsibilities are always being added without appropriate salary reviews & resource allocations. Gets worse when taking into account the picking up of workload due to resignations of peers in the region. Salary freeze due to oil price slump without consideration of local economy policies & inflation.

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
