Pros
Great team members that are friendly and hardworking
Cons
-The company experiences an exceptionally high turnover rate. Since my departure, nearly half of the team has changed. Even during my tenure, it was common for at least 2 team members to leave or be fired each month, disrupting productivity due to an unstable team structure. This instability often led to the assignment of last-minute, unreasonable tasks outside of one's job description to cover for departing team members -The high turnover rate reflects the company’s failure to invest in and develop its employees -There is an expectation of long hours without overtime compensation and the base salary is below market standards -The operations team lacks experience, providing insufficient HR support and failing to communicate basic employee guidelines -The company exhibits blatant displays of favoritism and nepotism -Employees are required to work from personal computers as no company laptops are provided -There is an unbalanced power dynamic between departments with leadership prioritizing sales and marketing, resulting in unnecessary company politics -Discussions about capacity and work-life balance are often ignored and disregarded by leadership -The company takes on too many projects without adequate support or establishing a coherent strategy -The company frequently makes empty promises to clients then leaves the younger employees to manage the resulting unrealistic expectations -The company culture is superficial and there is pressure to attend company events to show signs of commitment to one's role
