Pros

The paychecks came on time

Cons

-Old, dumpy building full of noisy doors and 5-gallon toilets. -As others have mentioned, low pay. I've heard this is partly because dB Control is known as a discount defense contractor (to the extent that it's known at all); I've also heard the owners are just cheap. -Much of their manufacturing workforce speaks almost no English. -The management seems mostly made up of unpleasant bully types who are high on violence and entitlement, and low on education (lots of ex-military). In my first week, I met one who badmouthed me to my manager about a clothing issue; weeks later I met another who, within 60 seconds, started talking down to me, ordering me around like I was his secretary, and seemed ready to start a fistfight over the most trivial subject you can imagine. This is the kind of company where the most repulsive people are not only tolerated, but promoted. -No surprise that turnover is so high -- 1/3rd of employees were hired in the past two years, and one-half were hired in the past three. -It might also explain the weirdly bi-modal age distribution. There seemed to be a ton of Boomers, and a handful of kids fresh out of high school or Cal State, but not much in the middle. -As a side point, people speak as if Israel is a beneficiary of their products. So working here likely means that the fruits of your labor will include dead children in the Middle East.
