      Pros

      Free breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks, but not delicious.

      Cons

      As a start-up around 400 people, it has as much red tape as a Fortune 500 Bank or Oil and Gas company. To start a project, people have to collect more than a dozen of sign-offs from each functions. Many people without sufficient knowledge can jump in say no just because they worry about the possible negative impact to themselves. If something bad really happens, all of these people either disappear or point fingers. They definitely didn't work for the best interest of the company but for their own groups or themselves. App Annie also lacks a strong momentum on the engineering side. The product roadmap is revised every week to extend more time for new product development. Tons of money was spent to get a key product but they ended up buying another company for the technology.

      Less than 90 days, I couldn’t agree more that we need to be more agile and focus on empowering our employees to make rapid decisions without multiple reviews and approvals. I truly wish that I had the opportunity to speak with you directly, because I was brought in to help solve many of the challenges you expressed.       Was a good and flexible place to work. New company that acquired works differently but do things well for their staff.

      - Great engineering talent, true ML/AI experts - The hardest working sales team I've ever seen - #dreamteam - Rockstar CS team who handled the most difficult clients imaginable. - Platform was powered by very hard to acquire data. No easy feat to collect the data in a ever changing environment. - Company events (when we had them) were always "Premium" - Overall compensation was very competitive

      Cons

      - Poor CEO leadership and vision. Ted was incredibly disappointing, I would not recommend him any capacity. - Final M&A motion was extremely disappointing. Nothing like seeing your equity going to $0 overnight. Total kick in the b@lls. - Product Roadmap was driven by vanity metrics and KPIs. CPO didn't drive the roadmap with revenue and TAM expansion in mind.
