Pros
I've had the privilege of working at dynaConnections for over two years now, & consider it one of the best workplaces & positions I've ever had. It is employee-owned, & the focus is very much on the team. Each employee, from the CEO to a summer intern, is included in high-level updates, & meets daily for an opportunity to collaborate and share any impediments to the success of the project they are working on. We each have the ability to oversee projects from start to finish, & management is very consistent about encouraging us to seek educational opportunities that will benefit us personally or professionally, & covering the associated costs. Most of the work is independent, but collaboration is easily facilitated through large, convenient meeting spaces & offices. There's also a central, fully stocked kitchen with a TV that employees are encouraged to take advantage of whenever they need a break. We work hard & have clear objectives, but overall the environment is a mix of relaxed & productive, & management rewards diligent work with generous & thoughtful rewards & incentives.
We provide software for the real estate industry that is, necessarily, very robust. It's a unique and ever-changing industry, so successful employees tend to enjoy the challenge of learning about it & how to meet end-users needs. The CEO, Tim, has experience as a Realtor & works closely with the Product Manager & Chief Architect to create a mission critical software product that is intuitive despite its wide range of features. dynaConnections provides exceptional support & ample customization options, & as a result has never lost a Customer.
Overall, it's a great workplace with people committed to doing great work.
Cons
The industry is different from a lot of others, & takes some time to fully comprehend.
