Pros

The eGain application offers exceptional product functionality when it comes to cross-channel interaction management. The SC group was great and very much as a team helping each other out as needed. We also had direct access to product management and developers to assist with opportunities or to ask technical questions.

Cons

There was a lack of career growth with no documented career path. You basically had to wait for someone to leave before there was any room to move up. eGain choose a poor health benefits program for the employees and does not match 401k contributions. I received some stock when I joined, but the stock had not increased in value at all and offered little incentive to stay. We had a very poor win rate against the major players like SalesForce so if you can't beat them, join them.

Pros

Supportive coworkers who were always willing to teach, answer questions, and help me succeed.

Cons

Management needs significant improvement. I didn't feel supported or properly trained, and there was an expectation to know how to do tasks without adequate guidance. Communication was often unclear, and feedback focused more on mistakes than coaching. I also felt isolated, and it seemed employee concerns were discussed with others instead of being addressed directly. A more supportive and communicative management team would greatly improve the workplace.
