Communication and attitude lack basic people skills, most promises not delivered, unnecessary complications, no support from the company, semi flexible regarding home office/remote work.

This is quite surprising for us since we always had 100% home office during pandemic and still offer a default 50:50 home office/remote working setup for all our employees which is also going to stay. We are also flexible on an individual basis to do short-term remote work from abroad (e.g. 1-2 weeks) but what we currently cannot offer is a 100% remote-only working due to tax reasons. All of this is always communicated very clearly during the application process.
We also heavily believe in the importance of an open communication when working together and for growing as a team. We typically find good solutions that work well for all sides and have regular performance meetings, yearly development meetings, managers that are always approachable, monthly team update meetings, etc. which everybody can and should use and where typically a good communication and alignment of personal/company goals is achieved.
emotion3D's team is young, dynamic and fun. It's a pleasure to go to the office because it's not just work but also lots of fun. The company culture allows for flexible modes of work such as home office and remote work. In addition, the field of automotive / deep learning is super interesting and always evolving. As an employee there are many ways of developing in different directions as the managers are very considerate of individual career plans.
Cons
There are not many cons of working at emotion3D - maybe the Viennese weather in winter ;)
1. Diversified work. Being a growing company one can really touch all the aspects of the software in a very short time. 2. Good place to learn practical aspects of machine learning. Someone diligent enough can actually understand the type of machine learning algorithms for each use case. 3. The CTO is a very helpful and approachable guy. Any aspects of software design can be easily discussed with him.
Cons
1. Salary needs to be higher for living in Vienna. 2. Maybe the office location doesn’t help much in expansion.
