Pros
Insane flexibility (9/80s in the summer, WFH, good PTO) Good perks (free skis every winter, pro deals, decent health insurance) The best people I’ve ever worked with. Amazing guys and gals I actually felt connected to.
Cons
Old tech stack, lack of opportunities to stay up to date with modern DE trends, weird internal tools make experience less applicable to the wider field of DE. Leadership will say things are going great, then do random layoffs with no warning, and then say things are fine again for another 8 months or so. Unstable position based on how much snow and the economy.
