Pros

Great working atmosphere, everyone I interacted with at ezyVet was fun, worked hard, and were willing to help out. Support team can get a 600 pound bonus every quarter. Lunches and Friday Drinks provided in office, dog friendly office.

Cons

I was hired as a Junior Project Manager but my contract stated I would initially start off in the Support team, which was fine. After 6 months I was told I would move into Implementation. Unfortunately Covid hit, some of the Support team were furloughed and others quit. I was unable to progress into a different team because they were refusing to hire any further support specialists. This resulted in a bare bones team, with little morale struggling to stay afloat. I still wonder if Covid hadn't happened whether or not things would have been different. The support team are worked hard and our KPIs were never reviewed so we were unable to achieve our full bonus with the small team and sudden influx of customer queries due to Covid. Before Covid there was little to no working from home policy, and even today over 1 year later it still hasn't been updated to acknowledge those who will be adjusting to this life for a long time. A couple of deliveroo vouchers were supposed to make up for the fact that the UK no longer got lunches, friday drinks, missed a Christmas party, summer party, and more due to not being in the office. Poor staff retention seems to be a reoccurring theme for ezyVet.

Thanks for the feedback. It's fair to say that COVID threw us challenges that we were not prepared for in 2020. We had to make some hard decisions as a company to ensure we were able to keep everyone in their jobs and this did include pausing a number of benefits, not holding our regular functions and using the furlough scheme for some roles. While these decisions were hard to make, we are proud that we were able to keep everyone's positions, but we do appreciate the impact has been the internal mobility we intended hasn’t occurred. Our recruitment is fired up and with the growth in our teams we have been able to alleviate the pressure on team and enable those career opportunities. Looking ahead, when we are positioned to head back into the office we’ll be able bring back many of the initiatives that are important in making ezyVet a great place to work. While we hadn’t created any specific "policies" for working from home during office closures outside of the remote working resources available on the intranet, happy to take any feedback on this and feel free to reach out to the P+C team internally!

Thanks for taking time to give us a review. The travel for our Implementation Team can be challenging and can be lots of fun, we’re continually trying to get the balance right.
