Pros

no, really nothing, and for sure, no pros.

Cons

- Thank you for not providing parking reimbursement in Rockville. - Thank you for making me come into the office at least twice while insisting the role was fully remote. - Thank you for paying me well below market rate. - Thank you for letting me be managed by an incompetent manager. - Thank you for letting me use your office internet to grind LeetCode, system design, and interview prep. - Thank you for teaching me resilience while I survived on a $50k salary as a software engineer. - Thanks for everything. I’m now living my dream life in SF Bay Area and just got promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Google.

Pros

- The amount of experience you can get here is phenomenal. Everyone wears many hats, so you get a wide visibility into your role. - The organization is very flat, so you get to interact with many different roles and levels

Cons

- It has not had a lot of formal processes put in place yet. However, it is starting to professionalize itself with standardized internal processes. - Sometimes the amount of work expected of each person can lead to burnout.

Pros

The only faintly positive aspect is my coworkers. Without them, the experience would be unbearable.

Cons

- Working here has been unbearable, driven by selfish and cruel leadership. - Leadership is often characterized as greedy, demanding, and lacking empathy. - Employees are forced to meet impossible expectations with no support or guidance. - Every decision prioritizes profit at the expense of staff. - Workloads are overwhelming, and deadlines are unrealistically tight, forcing constant overtime. - Time off is minimal, making it impossible to achieve a real work-life balance. - Even the most resilient employees cannot thrive, and the salary is far below what is reasonable.
