Pros

Working at fusionSpan has been a rewarding experience. The company promotes a strong sense of community where employees are encouraged to collaborate, support one another, and continuously learn. I appreciate the trust given to team members, the opportunity to work on challenging projects, and the exposure to international clients. Leadership encourages innovation and values employee contributions, creating an environment where people can grow both professionally and personally. The culture is inclusive, respectful, and focused on teamwork, making it an enjoyable place to build a career. These themes are consistent with the company's publicly stated emphasis on community, collaboration, and employee development.

Cons

Pros

- The amount of experience you can get here is phenomenal. Everyone wears many hats, so you get a wide visibility into your role. - The organization is very flat, so you get to interact with many different roles and levels

Cons

- It has not had a lot of formal processes put in place yet. However, it is starting to professionalize itself with standardized internal processes. - Sometimes the amount of work expected of each person can lead to burnout.

Pros

no, really nothing, and for sure, no pros.

Cons

- Thank you for not providing parking reimbursement in Rockville. - Thank you for making me come into the office at least twice while insisting the role was fully remote. - Thank you for paying me well below market rate. - Thank you for letting me be managed by an incompetent manager. - Thank you for letting me use your office internet to grind LeetCode, system design, and interview prep. - Thank you for teaching me resilience while I survived on a $50k salary as a software engineer. - Thanks for everything. I’m now living my dream life in SF Bay Area and just got promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Google.
