Pros
1) Very strong team: Generally very international, smart and supportive. There are many really good people at Hawk AI and it's amazing to work with them. I am particularly impressed with the Dev, Data Science, Product and Marketing teams. Overall, there are some truly world class folks at Hawk AI. 2) Purpose of the product: Hawk AI helps banks and payment firms fight financial crime. You can truly feel that the team is not just working "on another software product", but really contributing positively to society. It's nice to know about the impact of your work. 3) AI capabilities: The machine learning capabilities of the product are very strong, in fact, unparalleled in some areas. The company even has patents on some parts of their AI. It's fantastic to working on cutting edge technology. 4) Commercial success: The company is doing really well. Every week there's another big client being signed. Having seen the company start from early days, it's really impressive to see how fast the company has grown and expanded internationally (now already in 60 countries!)
Cons
- A lot of work: Working for a tech company it goes without saying that it's not always a 9-5 job. But I have worked for many tech companies, and the flexibility Hawk AI offers is great, so I am happy how things are.
