Pros
You get to teach and enrich the lives of young children aged 4-6.
Cons
-No career advancement AT ALL. -No proper training for staff. Training is only a verbal few hour session/review half a year and you’re left to your devices. Was thrown 10+ classes at once on the first day of employment without proper help. -Management is a GREAT BIG GIANT red flag. They berate you when you show any signs of weakness e.g. incapability or not understanding how to execute the curriculum well. Dodgy practices like only hiring chinese race and Christians. Appears to be pious but actually hypocrites. -Salary always fluctuates and is dependent on the number of students under your wing, for the month. Hence, withdrawal of students means a dip in your salary. There isn’t a basic salary as well. -Lack of tech and innovation. Didn’t revert to zoom during the peak of the pandemic (Circuit Breaker) which is a pity.
