Pros

I worked with a great team and felt that my immediate managers cared about me as a person while setting clear and reasonable expectations for what a successful employee did on a daily basis.

Cons

Upper management (the executive level and a few downstream) seems to thrive on being shortsighted. In October, following a failure to go public, Mark Watterson assured 400+ employees that their jobs were safe. A month later, 50% of my department was laid off without warning and without severance or PTO payout, and more outside of my department were let go as well. Being laid off is always unfortunate, but laying off dozens (if not hundreds) of employees during the holiday season is truly unconscionable. The layoff comes after several new people were hired in the last month in my former department alone. None of the new hires were kept on. iFIT shows a startling lack of thought for what could *possibly* happen following massive growth throughout the pandemic, and the executives shoulder none of the burden of their poor choices–the consequences lay solely on the entry- and mid-level employees they just let go. My dad worked here and weathered similar situations over the course of 20+ years. ICON was a pretty subpar company to work for, and it seems that rebranding to iFIT didn’t take away that character trait.

Pros

Strong, people-first company culture that makes you feel valued and part of something bigger. Broad and engaging scope of work — you're never stuck doing the same thing day after day. Talented, collaborative teams that genuinely enjoy working together. Excellent work-life balance that the company actively supports and respects.

Cons

Cross-team communication can be inconsistent, leading to silos and duplicated efforts. Work prioritization isn't always clear — it can be hard to know what should take precedence, especially across teams.

Pros

If innovation excites you, this company is for you. I love the big ideas and fast-paced culture. iFit is all about anticipating their consumers’ needs and does an amazing job at fulfilling them. This is the second time I’ve worked here, I started years ago as a customer service rep and then quit to focus on school, then came back as an intern and they hired me on full time after graduation. The marketing department has been amazing to be a part of. The flexibility of working remote and the opportunities they provide are amazing. I am not the most confident person and yet no one belittles me for it. My team is Paid Media and they have been nothing but supportive, especially as I just had my second child. They’ve helped me jumpstart my career and they trust in my ideas. I couldn’t be happier! The pay for my entry-level experience satisfies me and there is opportunity for a bonus that is based on commitments that I set myself. There is unlimited (not to be abused) flex PTO, which is so awesome and important. There are lots of benefit options. All in all, this is a great place to work at, from customer service to marketing. The CMO is so driven and fantastic to speak to. The vice CMO is very forward but very kind and down to earth, and I love her for it. Seeing these powerful women as leaders in my department empower me. I’m not just saying that either. I love and am grateful for the opportunities iFit gives.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that the communication between teams could be a bit better, particularly during campaigns.
