Pros

While you will get a sense of a work-life balance at the beginning, this is quickly removed and expectations are not as described in the pamphlet. Middle managers don't seem to know or understand the mission of the Exec team or understand how to meet those expectations. It feels like you are trying to hit a target, but you are blind folded and the target is constantly moving. Your manager is the one moving the target and not giving you any indication on how to hit the target.

Cons

All offices are treated so much differently. If you're in SF, you have the luxury of having lunch every day and breakfast most days. In other offices, you're lucky if you get lunch once a week. Also, the SF office gets special privileges where they have quarterly events (picnics, heart walks, baseball games) during the workday that other offices don't get the same offerings. At best, you're invited to the same happy hour at the same place time and time again. Pretty bad when you don't drink. There is lots of favoritism based on what your role is. You see things that need to be changed, offer suggestions and solution only to be looked at like you have 4 heads. Then, 3 months later, a director will come up with the same idea and all of a sudden it's brilliant and parades are being thrown. Most executives are so egotistical that they can't see down below their porcelain thrones. They don't offer an inviting culture to share ideas, suggestions, or ask questions.

Pros

Solid culture, strong muffin, genuinely good people trying to do good work. Benefits and pay are competitive and the company recognizes strong performance. We continue to undergo a ton of transition and there is never a shortage of work to do and problems to solve. We are a learning focused org and embrace AI, and there is a lot of focus on how to upskill our teams. For those of us who have to work in corporate America, this is one of the better companies I’ve worked in and I feel good about what we’re doing to iRhythm.

Cons

Change feels constant and our leadership teams have to manage a ton of competing priorities. We are having some growing pains and struggles with process that feel solvable, but also lack a PMO office or team to help in this area. We are a fairly flat org, so growth isn’t as fast or predictable as it might be in more mature/larger orgs.

Pros

-The mission is genuinely meaningful, and employees can see the impact their work has on patients' lives. -Smart, passionate, and collaborative colleagues who care deeply about the company's success. -Plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new challenges, and make a visible impact. -Employees are often empowered to influence change and improve processes. -Fast-paced environment that offers broad exposure across the business. -Leadership appears committed to continuing to improve the organization and patient outcomes.

Cons

- Frequent organizational, leadership, and process changes can create uncertainty and change fatigue. - Priorities can shift quickly, making it difficult for teams to maintain focus and long-term planning. - Cross-functional communication and alignment are not always consistent, sometimes resulting in duplication of effort or confusion. - Some processes feel outdated or not yet fully scaled to support the organization's growth, which feels out of sync with the broad investment in AI tools for employees. - Legacy employees used to operating a certain way or employees who prefer stability and well-established operating models may find the environment challenging.
