Hiring lockdown due to merger.

Friendly and open work environment. There have been lots of new hires recently and the engineers that have been with the company for a while are very willing to share information and help others learn. Small company feel that's operating with a large financial backing of a parent company. Lots of room for growth and ownership for those that have the drive and ambition. Leading edge of the OTT streaming industry with ambitious goals for rapid growth. Well stocked kitchen with lots of snacks and goodies. Good benefits package with several options.

There's a pretty big disconnect between office locations, which seems to stem from a lack of enforcement of process and policy. Management is very aware of this and taking the right steps to address it, but at times it can be hard to see that. Some teams feel quite silo'd as their services have limited integration with other teams. This leave a knowledge gap and lack of understanding of how things work between teams Management has had a tendency to over eagerly release products without proper operational support, often leaving operations underwater supporting products they're unfamiliar with and don't fully understand. It seems like the goal is to release on time whether or not we're prepared for it.
