Pros

If you’re lucky enough to receive a good “patch” then the commission can be a big bonus.

Cons

Unrealistic targets, micromanaging, advertised as “work from home” or “hybrid” however they belittle you to go into the office no matter how far you live. They are a company that preach mental health is important, however they will never acknowledge that their team leaders and management cause their staff nothing but anxiety and stress. You could be rolling in 70-100k for the company, but don’t meet that one target In December, straight on performance review you will go. I’ve never known a company like it, majority of their staff are on performance review or being threatened with being sacked. And on a side note, monitoring how long people are on the phone for and sending their call times around then shaming anyone under 3 hours.. EVEN THOUGH, not only do they have to ring out all day, they have ridiculous team meetings all day with branches, RMs, relationship managers.. the list goes on.. just overall, unrealistic expectations.

Pros

Reflecting on the 10 years here, I can honestly say my enjoyment for this job hasn't faded. What makes this place so special is the leadership's genuine respect for the staff and the top-tier benefits. I'm so proud to be part of such a fantastic organisation who are more like one giant family that all work together to get the job done from start to finish. The company also offers oportunities which allow an employee to develope in their own skills and further their career within the company should they choose. I recommend working within this company to everyone I get th echance to because its just that kind of place!

Cons

Like with any job, there are times when it becomes extremely busy and it can seem there is no let up - these are outweighed by far with good days. Depending on where you live and how you can travel, it may be an issue to get to the Head Office, However help is always at hand to make arrangements if needed. Monthly 1-2-1 although I understand help guide where needed I think could be made into quarterly or half annually with a brief "check-in" would be better.
