Pros

insightsoftware offers a genuinely flexible approach to working conditions, with both fully remote and hybrid options. The company expects honest hard work and rewards it. As a highly acquisitive business, it has built a broad portfolio of software solutions, which means there is always a great deal to sell and plenty of room to grow your knowledge and your territory. The investment in sales technology is excellent. Sales executives have access to genuinely impressive tools that make prospecting far more efficient. The sales enablement team is very strong and works hard to accelerate learning wherever possible, which makes a real difference when you are getting up to speed. For those who excel, the club experience is outstanding, and the company truly allows you to enjoy it and take time out to recharge. Across the board, the organisation continues to mature, particularly from a sales operations perspective, and that progress is visible year on year. The rewards and the commission is there for those people who genuinely work hard.

Cons

As is the case in any sales role, there is high pressure to deliver, regardless of where you sit. The breadth of the product portfolio is a genuine strength, but it does take time to learn every solution to a comprehensive level. How long this takes will depend on your background and previous career experience, although it is certainly achievable, and the enablement support helps considerably.

Pros

ISW offers meaningful opportunities for flexibility and skill development, but there are areas where organizational practices could be strengthened to improve employee experience and retention. Remote-first workplace, providing flexibility and supporting work–life balance Access to training and development resources, including courses designed to help employees build skills and grow professionally Exposure to cross-functional and international collaboration, which can broaden perspective and experience.

Cons

Compensation does not always feel aligned with the scope of responsibilities and workload Communication across teams can be inconsistent, particularly in a globally distributed environment Management feedback style may feel overly critical at times, rather than supportive or coaching-oriented Cultural expectations appear uneven, with U.S.-based employees often expected to adapt to international teams, while reciprocal cultural understanding is less emphasized High levels of monitoring and oversight can create a stressful environment and limit autonomy Lean principles are promoted through training, but leadership application of those principles may feel inconsistent Relatively high turnover across teams, which can affect morale, continuity, and workload balance
