Stay away - PR Manager kenwerks Employee Review

I loved my internship at kenwerks! I felt comfortable and welcomed from the start. All of the other interns started around the same time as me, so we got to know each other and became friends. We had interesting projects and tasks, rather than just busy intern work. Helping at the client events was also a lot of fun. We were able to get hands-on experience and knowledge of the industry. Throughout my internship, everyone in the office was really friendly and helpful. They were also helpful giving me school credit. Overall, I had an amazing experience there.

The only con I have is that the internship was unpaid, but I guess that is typical for fashion internships.

I got real PR experience, and I felt the more you put into your internship the more you get out of it. I worked hard and worked as many days a week as I could as an intern, so I was given real responsibility - I got to help out with pitches, email blasts, events, photoshoots and social media campaigns. If you don't put a real effort in, you'll get assigned boring tasks like checking in inventory or cleaning the showroom. Love all the clients and really nice office/showroom!
