Pros
knownwell is very mission-driven focused on delivering inclusive, compassionate care that is evidence-based and free of weight bias. I feel fulfilled knowing I'm making a positive impact on my patients. I can also sleep well at night knowing that all protocols and guidelines are aligned with the OMA and only FDA-approved medications are used. No shady snake oil supplements or compounded substitutes here! Culture is supportive of work/life balance and professional development. Leadership team is made up of brilliant minds (with incredibly impressive pedigrees and track records!) and they genuinely strive to be available, approachable, and responsive.
Cons
Like any start-up at this point in development, there are some growing pains and challenges as we scale. knownwell certainly experiences a number challenges and transitional issues as we mature and grow. This is frustrating and scary at times, however, I am grateful for the forward-thinking and detail-oriented executive team. They are thoughtful and purposeful with change and growth-related decisions as well as transparent with the "why" of change. This helps to mitigate some of the stress and frustration and keeps the team engaged.
