      Pros

      Gaining experience to move on to another job with higher pay and way better culture.

      Cons

      I have to agree, the environment is very toxic. Lots of gossip and favoritism. Engineers hired with no experience being sent to do jobs they are not qualified to do. Management does not handle stress well and negativity spreads so quickly. I had very few happy days at work, mostly stressed with a different someone near me cussing or agitated or throwing a fit every other minute. Just not a comfortable place to work most of the time. People just do not seem happy at all.

We are sorry you experienced so many negative feelings in your time with us. masterIT acknowledges no one is perfect, and we have been working hard this last year to staff up our engineering group with qualified candidates to meet our increasing demand.       Pros

      Management is flexible, but also holds us accountable. If there is a problem, they will listen and it doesn't fall on deaf ears. Very fast pace if you like that type of speed.

      Cons

      Can be stressful at times due to the fast pace and workload.

We appreciate your comments, and we go out of our way during the interview process to stress what a fast-paced environment we work in since our industry is changing/evolving every day. The upside is we get to see a lot of different technology and cultures, which enhances our team members experience. Regarding fun stuff outside of work - our movie night every other week has been more well received than the quarterly off-site adventures we have taken.       Pros

      Awesome for getting experience in everything quickly. If you can keep up and are ambitious you'll learn a lot.

      Cons

      Everything else. They aren't competitive with salary at all. Their main competitors, ProTech and All Covered, both pay way more and masterIT is aware of this. Benefits are pretty bad and expensive, the work environment is extremely toxic, most of the engineers don't really know what they're doing, leadership constantly makes decisions that don't make any sense and live in their own little bubble even though some core values are "Face Reality" and "Extreme Ownership" - both of which leadership completely ignore. They like to say "you can have your own opinions but you can't have your own facts." which is ironic because they constantly ignore the facts and go with whatever they believe reality to be. All in all, this is a great place to grab a lot of experience quickly and then springboard to a better job.

It is unfortunate that your experience did not match our commitment to live out our Core Values, 10 Commandments and Ideal Team Player Virtues daily. As we have done several times in the past, we are now in the process of getting a holistic point-of-view from our team members so that opinions are weighed relevant to each other (via anonymous surveys).
