Pros

Interesting international projects Top clients, leading international organizations International scope of work Friendly and supportive colleagues Steep learning curve especially for interns and trainees Ownership of projects Diverse work (maybe not an advantage, depends on personality) Good pay for Berlin Nice centrally located office Client exposure Challenging but rewarding agency for those who are really interested in working in communications field and in an agency environment. Great for those with pro-active attitude and initiative, with high level of freedom in one's work. Not a company for those searching for 9-5 job with full on guidance and supervision. Culture of pro-activity.

Cons

Tight deadlines and sometimes long hours - but this could be said for any agency High turnover of staff in some teams Lack of internal communication and support Growing employee apathy in some teams when it comes to work itself Almost no employee engagement schemes

Pros

In general, if you don't come in contact with the CEO, mc is a great place to work. But don't think about climbing the professional ladder because you will be promoted and have to deal with the CEO. Once this happens you will hate your life and be burnt out and miserable within 3-5 months.

Cons

I have never met a man with an uglier personality when it comes to the CEO. Just despicable.

Pros

Literally nothing. Maybe the location in middle of Mitte

Cons

I worked at mc Group as an account manager from June to August . This was by far the worst job experience of my life. The company culture is toxic, largely due to the CEO's outdated and abusive leadership style. He is stuck in the 70s, often resorting to name-calling and disrespectful behavior. There are multiple cases against him for sexual harassment and fraud, which speaks volumes about the company's values. His management style is chaotic, with frequent late meetings that bleed into personal time. Employees are expected to work excessive hours, including weekends, without proper compensation. His unpredictable behavior, including tantrums, creates a constant atmosphere of fear and uncertainty. Despite claiming to have over 20 offices worldwide, the company is solely based in Berlin. This is just one more example of the CEO's dishonesty and lack of transparency. Wages are shockingly low, working as a waiter would pay you more seriously, and there were multiple instances of delayed or unpaid salaries. To make matters worse, the company's bank went bankrupt, causing further financial hardship for employees. I strongly advise anyone considering working here to think twice. Your mental and financial well-being are at risk.
