Pros
Been here for three years and I've had a chance to see the company grow. The company develops technology for the healthcare space and we get to see the real impact on patients on a daily basis. It is always uplifting to chat with doctors and nurses and hear them share how our technology has helped them treat and manage their patients. Aside from the technology, the people here are amazing. There really is a work hard / play hard culture in place. We tackle some complex problems, but everyones' voice gets heard. There are a ton of company activities and outings. Over the past few years I've developed close personal friendships with a lot of former and current employees and we often hangout outside of work. During work - we sit down for beers every Friday, and once a month the company caters lunch for all employees. Aside from that, there are multiple events throughout the yea: bike rides, rock climbing, BBQs and dinner/drink nights. The team is pretty diverse as well. While we skew a little younger (average age is likely lates 20, early 30s), everyone is from different backgrounds, ethnicities and religions. It is great sitting around the kitchen table during lunch and seeing colleagues share foods or treats and discuss their views on different topics. Would definitely recommend mesh as a workplace!
Cons
it would be great for the office to be a bit closer to the subway line - however there are multiple buses running. the company has big ambitions in the healthcare space, hiring talent is challenging as the job market is so hot. Constant back-and-forth between prioritizing various projects and hiring new talent. I guess usual challenges for a growing tech company.
