Pros

nSI couldn't care more for their own employees, and they show it in many ways. They are growing fast and are very competitive business-wise, but also take the time to invest in employees through short courses, training and finding new opportunities for you throughout the company. The management and owners challenge employees in a dynamic work environment, but also make appreciate and compensate employees as they should be. nSI is hands down the best company and workplace environment I've ever experienced.

Cons

None that come to mind.

Pros

- Immense talent across the company. There are so many SMEs who you can reach to try something new or bounce ideas off of. Extremely collaborative culture - Flat hierarchy. Senior Management is reachable and receptive to everyone across the hierarchy, including entry level talent - High transparency and serious about ESOP culture. There are regular, detailed updates on the company's financial performance that are open to the entire company - High density of technical PMs helps contracts run a lot smoother - Very strong R&D culture. High autonomy to seek new work, try new methods, and propose new ideas. - Award winning security culture. Company takes security culture seriously and has uniquely high integrity with regards to it

Cons

Mostly associated with GovCon as an industry: - As with any contracting role, experiences can vary a lot by contract/customer. There is always intrinsic risk in this industry that you will get an uncooperative or uninformed customer that makes a contract a pain to work on. - Compensation is higher than government GS equivalents, but growth rates are similarly slow once you're in. - Award winning security culture. It can be quite hard to get new tools that may be needed for your work
