Pros

Cool office location inside an upscale bookstore in a great neighborhood, with regular author readings and events at the space.

Cons

An unpleasant atmosphere fueled by a bullying management style and shockingly rude behavior on the part of senior level employees makes this a terrible place to work. Neither authors nor employees are treated well, and the owner of the company is an unrepentant liar. Publishing is notorious for low salaries, which are usually compensated for by nice people--not the case here, where pay is lower than the norm and the nice people get new jobs elsewhere as soon as they are able.
