Pros
While my time there was short, one positive aspect I appreciated was the work environment and basic facilities, such as food. However, from a professional growth perspective, I was looking for better mentorship, structured onboarding, and stronger team collaboration, which were limited during my experience.
Cons
I joined the company as a Python Django developer, but I was immediately assigned to work on FastAPI projects without any onboarding or knowledge transfer. While I was willing to learn and take on the challenge, there was no initial guidance provided despite multiple requests for support. I actively tried to collaborate with the team—for example, some team members expressed interest in learning Django, and I was happy to offer guidance and share my knowledge. However, I did not receive similar support when I needed help transitioning to FastAPI. I strongly believe in teamwork, mutual support, and continuous learning. While I am comfortable adapting to new technologies, I also value an environment where knowledge sharing goes both ways. Since that was missing, I decided to look for an opportunity where I can both contribute and grow within a more collaborative team culture.
