Pros
- very young, talented team, really inspiring to be around - varied client network (sport, hospitality, etc) - processes are in process i.e new systems being put in place each year
Cons
- Expect to work overtime with no overtime compensation policy in place - ‘unlimited leave’ policy but understaffed teams means it’s difficult to take the time off, with no roll over year on year - clients expect you to be accessible 24/7 with limited guardrails from management or ADs - recruitment process is slow so everyone on the team ‘wears multiple hats’ (ie scope creep) - limited transparency on decisions, data and direction from upper management - salaries and benefits are not all market competitive i.e you may be at the bottom of your salary band and not have salary revised for years. - work-life balance not always prioritized - diversity and inclusion not quite nuanced and progressive
