Pros
I have learned SO much working at theBalm, when I started working here I had little job experience, but was eager to learn and work hard. From day one I have learned skills that have changed my life in such a positive way. I feel that I have become a more confident and responsible person, who really can take on any task! If you put in the time and effort you will be rewarded with the gratification that you did it, on your own, and be recognized for ALL your efforts. That may sound silly to some, but most companies don’t allow you to manage projects at a lower level, especially if you are new. But at theBalm they will give you the opportunity to take on projects, and if you can handle them and do a good job you will go very far! I started here as an intern and I definitely didn’t sink, I swam…and now I feel like an Olympian!
Cons
This is not a normal office job…if you are looking for something that starts at 9 and ends at 5 everyday, this is not for you. Granted, that is not every day, but this is a career position. And if you want to grow in your career you need to put in the work.
