Pros

Good work-life balance with hybrid model, good line management for me personally.

Cons

Definitely agree with the comments seen on this site on favouritism; you can spend your time vaping and telling inappropriate/offensive jokes and get your salary doubled from 35k to 70k (Snr PMO anyone?). FYI - mixed heritage does not absolve you of being racist. There were also issues with bullying that I know people decided not to address as they knew these concerns would be ignored, so they left the business instead. I overheard a lot of unpleasant comments from people about their colleagues, which was a great shame. Ultimately, colleagues behaviour was what led me to leave (calling my child that you've never met the T word... yeah, bye).

Pros

I have nothing positive to say.

Cons

The office environment is highly toxic and akin to a clique. If you are not in the good favour of the team leader, you may find yourself penalised despite your efforts to perform your duties to the best of your ability. If they do not favour you, there is a risk of being subtly marginalised or excluded from the organisation, often through underhanded means. The expectations placed upon employees are excessive, while reciprocation remains lacking. It often feels that consistent criticism is inevitable, and the management team’s conduct is generally disappointing. Regarding HR, unless you are part of senior management, raising concerns can be an ineffective endeavour, as they tend to show little interest. No matter the evidence you present to support your case, it is frequently disregarded, and prioritisation is consistently given to senior staff.

Pros

- Team were excellent. - Genuinely good product. - Pay was good compared to rest of industry. - Flexibility around personal life, very understanding and willing to help.

Cons

- Very little in the way of training, especially stepping into first management role. - Progression is pretty hard to come by in recent times, used to be more common. - Benefits (not including salary) were lacking. - Necessary cuts to spending made work challenging at times.
